I have been doing some research and it looks like the daily FINRA short data includes both covered (intraday) and open short shares. As our astute group here knows, IFXY has been trading around 35-50% of daily volume as 'short'. Yesterdays count was just under 50%. Not sure what to make of all that, but maybe someone on here could help us out. Perhaps a higher % of short data would indicate that the MM's are forced to cover more shares daily, as there just isn't alot floating around?
