For the longest time shareholders were told that the Algae growing in Santa Ana would be used as inoculate for Death Valley.
First, we were told they were growing The strain for omega-3 and that we should expect to see a brown PBR.
When the PBR was green shareholders asked what was up and we were told the strain they were growing is Santa Ana was NOT the omega-3 for Death Valley, it was a differnt type and they were conducting some testing.
Then, if I recall correctly, they cleaned the basin completely and started growing another strain. and just recently announced that they would start growing the haematococcus for Death valley . But first they were going to clean and sterilize the PBR. Then the camera went blank for a few days.
We were most recently told they were going to change the tubes to start fresh.
There is a youtube channel that posts daily videos of the PBR. even after looking there, I have absolutely no idea, which stage or which algae is either growing or dying in the PRB.
