ALERT! TOM CROM IS NOT A CPA!
I got curious about this Tom Crom guy so I did a little research and let me share with you all what I discovered.

Tom Crom WAS licensed in Califorina as a CPA but he let his license lapse and therefore can no longer hold himself out as a CPA. The same would be true with his CMA designation. You see, before you can legally call yourself a CPA, you need to be currently licensed as one. Apparently Tom has been weaseling his way into deals based upon the representation that he was a CPA at the time. I have checked Arizona and Texas... two possible other states where he might have registered but the only place where I could find him at all was in California and, like I said.. that is inactive.

I have been in discussion with the Enforcement Division of the California State Board of Accountancy regarding this violation and assume they will follow up on it.

Perhaps more damaging still, I have found evidence where Tom signed a SEC filing as the company's auditor at a time where he was not active. This is a very serious thing.

More strangely still, it appears as if Tom also signed it as an officer of the company. How he can be both the auditor and an officer, I have no idea but I do know I have notified the SEC about this as well. Seems they don't like people holding themselves out as something they weren't.

Frankly, I have to wonder if any investors invested in ECMZ or the private company based upon him holding himself out as a CPA.

Since no one is buying already, I don't suppose this will kill the momentum.. lol.. but one has to wonder about the insiders on both sides of the deal and how many of them know about this? Only time will tell but if they are smart.. they will dump him and the sooner the better now that the word is out.

If anyone knows where Tom has a current license as a CPA, I would appreciate them posting it here so I can correct this info.
