there was no doubt. It was funded (primarily) by the Federal Government (thanks to good old Tip O'Neill and all the other Massacusetts liberals like Kennedy and Kerry). God forbid that any good Union worker be out of work while any of them were/are in office!

Of course, the fact that it is BILLIONS over budget doesn't seem to matter to anyone anymore (let alone the so-called "minor leaks" observed in the tunnels lately, which will cost Massachusetts tax payers millions more to fix over the years to come).

Sorry, but the Big Dig is a poor comparison to what's happening with QBID right now. QBID does NOT have guarenteed funding (as the Big Dig had).
