But, the company's most recent PR says it is:

Empire Energy Corporation is an international oil and gas exploration company, focusing on developing assets in one of the world's last virgin basins and becoming a leading low-cost finder of hydrocarbons. The Company is currently operating in Tasmania's central and northern basins.

This PR 'tag line' has not changed for at least the last year, and likely will not change until EEGC actually is in another business.

Note the GMH acquisition is not completed, and per filings GMH itself is not in the affinity credit card business or medical waste equipment distribution business; rather, another company controlled by Mr. Villarreal is in those businesses, and GMH's acquisition of that other company has not been disclosed (would have to be as a material event).
