The JEAP is a Newfie Government stimulus or incentive program for the Provincial mining industry to encourage exploration. Our provinces do this from time to time and they come and go depending on the state of the economy and the party in power. Sometimes they are outright grants and sometimes there is a pay-back provision. In any event this one in Newfoundland is quite generous and it was indeed a prudent move for KATX to apply for it. However the granting of the money is not related to the finding of good assays in the drilling program. It is in no way a judgement or an endorsement by the Government on the quality of the assays at Handcamp .. I M H O. " Did you complete that drilling program ? ". Yes we did. " O K then we are awarding you this money that you have applied for !! ". More or less. But of course you can be assured the Gov. got a copy of all the drill logs and assays.
