Northern Gold Mining Inc.









Northern Gold Mining Inc. is a junior resource company based in Toronto, Ontario and dedicated to gold exploration in the proven mining camps of Northern Ontario. The goal of its experienced and highly skilled team is to maximize shareholder value through focused exploration and aggressive testing of high quality targets.

The current focus is the Garrison gold property, thirty-five patented claims in Garrison Township approximately 40 kilometres north of Kirkland Lake and 100 kilometres east of Timmins, Ontario. Northern Gold Mining Inc. is in the first year of an option agreement under which it can earn up to an 80% interest in the Garrison gold property from ValGold Resources Ltd. ("ValGold", TSX-V: VAL).

They recently completed an initial drill progam on the Garrison gold property. Eleven diamond drill holes totaling 2,333 metres were completed as a first step towards developing a resource calculation for the Garrcon Zone. Multiple occurrences of visible gold were observed as fine disseminations in ten of the eleven holes drilled. A NI 43-101 technical report filed on SEDAR by Northern Gold suggests that the Garrcon Zone has the potential to host a bulk tonnage target of up to 30 million tonnes ranging in grade from 1 to 3 grams per tonne gold.

In addition, the Garrison gold property contains an indicated resource of 253,100 tonnes grading 7.77 grams per tonne gold (63,200 ounces) and an inferred resource of 1,555,800 tonnes grading 4.93 grams per tonne gold (246,540 ounces), according to a NI 43-101 technical report filed by Northern Gold on SEDAR on 21 October 2009.

Northern Gold is also developing properties in two areas of Kirkland Lake, Ontario: the Benoit Property and Kirana Claims. Located in one of Canada's most prolific mining regions, these properties include drill ready targets and a large grass roots exploration package.
