Had a PM asking me to clarify my bandwidth statement. Thought it was a valid question so I'm posting it here.
Basically, I was referring to my ability to give my full attention to trading today because I'm at work and needed to ensure I'm doing a good job. Trading is secondary at work (for obvious reasons), therefore when things are busy, I can't watch as many screens as I would like or be able to watch if I was at home. That's what I meant with the bandwidth reference.
On the other hand, I know everyone's bandwidth is different, but for me, trading with the rules from the Basic Monkinar is within just about everyone's immediate grasp. It consumed much less bandwidth than I anticipated it would prior to going to the ATL. For example, in my first 3 trading days at home I ran 6 trading screens, multiple Yahoo Finance tabs, my Etrade account, my personal email, work email, read the news, reviewed my 5 fantasy football teams/leagues and answered questions that my wife randomly tosses out throughout the day, held my kids here and there and never felt overly taxed. I'm anxious for the advanced class so I can put some extra bandwidth to use.
