ok I called this is what they said.

We were notified by the company the F/S would occur on or about the 15th of september. so the staff entered the 16th as the date to cancell al existing orders in preparation for the transaction and notificiation of shareholders via the email.
Corpate action team stated it has not happened and they is no indication FINRA approval happened yet.
so the email was triggered by the computer system based off the AUG 31 PR stating on or about the 15 of SEPT.
I ask they put out an email stating the one I got was sent in error.
