"hopes to announce tomorrow..." He can't come through when he names specific dates with specific details, to now phrase it as "Hopes" seems even less viable. No one will know until tomorrow I guess.

What is the purpose of releasing a PR where the main content is to announce REAL news in a future PR? Putting out all these types of PRs and then NOT following through on them really makes him look bad. If he never put out those types of PRs, then a) he wouldn't look bad when he didn't follow through with the REAL PR and b) If he DID come through with a REAL news PR without telegraphing it first, it'd have a much greater impact.
