PV, was responding to the underlying current of fear of infection at the hospital. Staph is one that seems prevalent in the US. Also noticed dust around vents,on ceilings, and etc., even though cleaning seemed to be an ongoing thing,(sweeping, dusting, moping, cleaning surfaces, bathrooms, and sanitizing hands going in and out rooms). The waiting area had around 50 people in close quarters in various states of health, (the sick and healthy together).
Stepdaughter had upper lung and lymph nodes removed on the 14th and sent home on the 15th. She had small cell cancer, don't know what stage. Doc said less chance of infection at home.
Observation seemed to imply that what is available is either not good enough or too expensive.
