Petro and the MLM is hand in glove, not sure which is the hand, which is the glove

I have been trying to figure that out myself. Granted that MLM and affinity scams tend to be fairly uncomplicated, simply because they can be. MLM's seem to have an vast pool of greedy people willing to believe they can get a lot for very little effort. Affinity scammers (particularly religious scammers) use their connections to trump facts.

This promotion is not completely amateurish (i.e, using the Reg D try to avoid state scrutiny and mask the unregistered sales - for a little while, anyway), but it is very far from sophisticated. Still, considering Owen's history and lack of experience, someone is certainly helping him, and the money being reaped from the 3rd party stock sales is likely funneling into several pockets.
