I myself would love to get the photos posted. Little bragging rights. Here is what I think needs to be addressed. This government unlike ours has different guidelines to follow. Because most of us are from the states we probably feel that their guidelines are stupid and sometimes unfair. Let me just say quickly after coming back just recently from America I was happy to be back. In America you have no civil liberties and are pretty much just a number and have to follow every written rule or face the consequences. Like the song says: Step out of line and the man come and take you away. It’s not like that at all here.
OK here goes the branch of this government we work under has been very fair to our company and I can’t even begin to explain here the hand they gave us in every aspect of our contracts. We have gotten something from this government very few companies have ever gotten.
They have to answer to UNESCO them not us. If and when the big hammer comes down on them then you can bet it will have to come down on us tenfold. Our company needs to promote the stock and hopefully be able to sell artifacts in the future and that’s because we don’t have any other way to fund the operations. This government only receives the artifacts and no money goes in anybody’s pockets so to them its artifacts and nothing more. Now if our company were to screw something up then its egg on their faces. They are the one that gave us the contract so they will be the ones who look bad. It’s hard to fathom what we just uncovered. The real way this should have been done is in total secrecy. With nothing said at all till the excavation process was complete. I am sure everybody is familiar with Odyssey and the problems they have with Spain. Could you imagine if they just found the wreck we just found? This would be world news. The thing is that this will soon become world news and its not Odyssey who found it and would be excavating the wreck. It is this tiny company based out of Midvale Utah. What? And this company is taking on the responsibility to excavate this very historically significant wreck site? What credentials do they have? You see I believe this government knows this and they are hoping and praying to God we go about the excavation of this ship wreck as quietly as possible. But for our company we need to promote it to keep the funding coming in to finish the job. So a catch twenty two here. However if we continue to promote this as a source of income we will probably never get to see the end of the excavation. This wreck needs to be viewed and approached solely from an archeological prospective. Anything less and the world’s archeological community will be up in arms and try everything in their powers to see that this little company out of Utah gets pushed aside to be replaced by some big time University. So I cant believe I am saying this but I think we found a wreck that is to important. We really needed to keep a lid on this baby but as you can see this cat is out of the bag. Lets see what unfolds from here on out. Pushing this government to let us post photos is really pushing ourselves in the view of the whole world. Which I am sure will help the PPS in the short time but could also see us down the road in a short time. If this wreck is done properly and we do it quietly then in the long run we will receive more contracts and contract extensions and the books that will be written and the attention our company receives would eventually drive the PPS higher than if we just live for the moment. I know the importance of this find and try every day to make sure the rest of our company also understands. It is so easy to get caught up in the success story even myself but if we don’t play this right, then we don’t just screw it up down here but we screw it up on the world’s stage.
I know we are planning on showing photos at the investors meeting and maybe we can even show some of the artifacts. And it is very possible we receive permission to post the photos. All’s I am saying is we need to come at this project from two angles and the monetary value angle being the lesser of the two. Now let’s hurry up and get this investors meeting thing out of the way so I can get back to work! I would rather be diving.
