i'll try to keep this simple there are alot of ways to log but basics...you can work 14 hour day then 10 hours off , but you can only drive 11 hours of that 14, so with fuel and pre trips checks loading unloading as on duty time, which most drivers don't log all of it on duty as were suppose to do, we can drive 11 hours a day say you log 1half hour on duty a day you can work and drive 11.5 hours then take 10 hours off and you can do all that and have 70 hours total to work and drive in 8 days.. then you can take off 32 hours and start all over again. well you dont have to take 32 hours off thats just one way to reboot your hours
there are alot of ways to get around log hours but alot off drivers that work for most companys are held pretty close to the rules anymore...
