Yes, TF and Joe, i noticed Joe's little rant over there at S.Alpha.

What's really irksome is John Bird/Waldo now presuming that CCME and several other companies are "frauds" ("Dead men walking" as he has elsewhere termed it) without advancing ANY significant evidence.

Gee, it's so easy (and corrupt) to be a short-seller.... Just walk onto a discussion board and starting dropping phrases like "fraud," "Enron," "scam," "SAIC and SEC don't match," "reverse merger," etc., and you can get the stockprice to drop 25-50% to profit on your short position.

No d.d. needed, just show up and start blabbing, and after enough verbal diarrhea, you've shifted the collective perception over to FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt).

It's like the right-wing anti-environmental greedy Koch brothers (Charles and David) as revealed by that recent big expose in The New Yorker.... Just pay a number of pseudo-grassroots groups and personnel over $200M the past few years to spout lies like "Obama's a socialist" (yeah right, as if he's out to nationalize all businesses and confiscate all private property!! go to N.Korea if you want to use the word "socialism") ... and pretty soon you've got a bunch of willfully ignorant "Tea Partying" little authoritarians repeating this nonsense and taking the country into a very dangerous, fascist direction, just like the Brownshirts did in Nazi Germany.

The point here is that lies repeated often enough have their own hypnotic allure and can shift conventional perception to suit the selfish aims of a very narrow special interest group.

Ever since January, the Chanos-Greenberg-Cramer-Asensio-Bird/Waldo shortselling tribe of barbarians has been spouting LOTS of lies and nonsense about this space.

For every valid concern they might express, they then put out one or more quite unwarranted and misleading generalizations, distortions, or rank deceits. As we've noticed, there's also covert ethnocentrism and even xenophobic racism at work here.

As a psychologist i find such pathology fascinating and worthy of compassion; as an investor whose family and friends are financially impacted by it, i find it abhorrent.
