Oh, Okay. gotcha.

There are some instances where the price will shoot up.

I've noticed that, at the beginning of the day, frequently 100 shares will exchange hands and drop the price by 5-10%. I always laugh at that tape-painting.

However, I think that you're right there isn't much of that little game going on... at least nothing so severe as to shake anyone out of shares.
