China has set a goal of eliminating malaria in Africa with no strings attached. Ultimately, they want to get their hands on Africa's abundant natural resources and if they play their cards right it will happen even though the West has been trying to stall the process. If the West was smart they would make a move and get involved before China experiences more success. imo
