FWIW(For what its worth)I was just messing with ya. There just werent many acronyms being used in chatrooms or message boards during the 70's - not sure why hmmmmm (no acronym, just a sound of deep thought - like the sound made when you find that your fountain pen leaked all over your shirt, but then realize you don't own a fountain pen).

Well, Now that I think of it, Al Gore used a bunch of acronyms in the 70's that since became outdated, ie. HAT = hug a tree and III = I invented it. Besides Al's acronyms, YAPS (you are pretty safe) using WEYW (whatever you want). JDMUYO (just dont make up your own), GTC (gets too confusing) and and people start replying IDKWTHYW (I dont know what the heck you wrote). KWIM?
