Campaign promises are not being kept. I am not happy about the health insurance situation at all. I think that the American people should be able to get in on the group plan that the federal employees / congressmen have.

I also think these unmarried women getting government subsidies for their children ought to have to name the fathers, and if they won't, their kids should be taken away and put up for adoption. My husband is 64 and has been doing some work at some subsidized housing and said most of the men (ages 20-40) don't work, get up at noon, all have cell phones, and sit around and smoke cigarettes all day. Our tax dollars are paying for stuff like this, and not health insurance.

Also our foreign affairs. We are giving aid to countries that don't seem to want to help us at all with things we are trying to do. I think that should be cut off immediately.

I guess you were right about Obama. He's a bit idealistic. I could go on and on but enough ranting for this morning.

Is he taking away the long term capital gains tax break for 2011?

BTW, what is your target for CLDA, if you don't mind me asking.
