Can ANYBODY explain to me why SNP would be willing to chop ERHC's head of, if there is talk about condensate, let alone oil, while they have "commercial oil" on their own site, for probably quite some time!?!

It does not add up unfortunately.

Remember: "no oil was found"

But... (!) on the other hand, let me bring this up again:

"Drilling activities in the JDZ in late 2009 by Sinopec confirmed the existence of commercially extractable hydrocarbon reserves in exploration Blocks 2, 3 and 4, while there is speculation that Block 1 may contain gas reserves of around 1 trillion cubic feet. Notwithstanding these positive findings, oil revenue flows are not expected before 2015, as setting up drilling activity is time-consuming."
