Ahem, King SS, I hope that this missive reaches you since many of my chariots are down, but I would add to your clairvoyance: I concur with many of your scenarios (notice the salutation) BUT would add to it the inevitable frenzy that NVC's achievement of speed/distance will incite - with the confirmation by the teleco
involved. ALL other telecos and telcoms would be faced with the unenviable reality of there being
telecommunications companies scurrying to get in position to offer their services complete with the oncoming NVC chips (which consequently puts latecomers or doubters at a severe competitive disdvantage). The companies know it, their s/h know it, and the investing public will quickly figure that out. I believe that "beating a path to NVC's door" doesn't begin to describe the resultant deluge of supplicants resulting from this news. What did Louis X1V say:
"Apres moi, le deluge"? This may well become NVC's
