I didn't think AMD had what it took to fill that monster gap, but it's doing it and I'm eating my words.
Dell could (and should) fill it. I think it'd be a good play for someone not afraid of a little risk.
I just bought 5 new Dell desktops for the network at work, and their customer service and products are still first class. Nothing wrong with their business model that a little IT spending won't cure.
All that is just my opinion, of course.
