Examples of bk stocks that rallied on news that the common would get something:
INTMQ (just recently too - .10 to .45)
DJTCQ (.17 to 2.20 - rode that from .86 to 1.99)
SEIEQ (under .20 to over 5.00)
ACKHQ (under .50 to over 3.00)

Countless others bounced regardless including ENRON (ENRNQ). Example is FTUSQ:
