I am not entirely sure what to make of Whitehall, I know that its mortgage sector is a joke. I also know that whitehall from my point of view ( which is from a good point of referrence ) has not taken the appropriate steps towards managing its assets in a manner that would indicate that the management is moving in a direction of a mature growth oriented company, it seems to me that Whitehall has all but done what it needs to do. I would recommend to its management that they take into consideration that focasing on staying alive is not the goal of a solid company, I get the impression that Whitehall is not trying to grow but alas is just trying to survive. The only way to survive is to grow, addapt and become stronger. Alternative Lending Group has a major debt to gross revenue problem. It would seem that they are in dire need of some new talent and fresh approach to management. The focas on patents is probably not a wise place for a company with a faultering performance and little equity to be focasing, I believe that Whitehall is in way over its head. I believe that Whitehall would better serve its investors if they focased on smaller more secure aquistions, from my point of view Whitehall seems to be buying up junk companies and in return incurring more problems than returns. If you have any comments on Whitehall that you would like to share with me please email me at calvinwaid@yahoo.com . I have not invested in this company, nor would I at this point, though it would seem with some major tweeking, this company could someday turn out to be something other than what it appears to be becoming at this point in time. My recommendation to the directors of Whitehall is to find some fresh ideas and dump some of the dead weight, and for a company focased on aquisitions they do not seem to be all that diversified. To the directors of Whitehall : Specifically Louis : I wish that I could have had the opportunity to discuss my ideas with you in person, alas I was not afforded that opportunity so here is my proposal, Dump All the patents while they are still sellable, and rebuild the mortgage sector, then Dump it as soon as it becomes at all profitable, then take the assets and send them all over the place into smaller less complicated forms of business. I would recommend the food service industry, i.e. restaraunts, and possibly some other complimenting industry, remember the greatest creditor to owe a debt to is yourself, for you are the most resonable person to deal with. Someday I plan on being one of the big dogs myself, for now I am nothing more than a very young guy learning from others mistakes and studying there paths of investment. It seems to me that Whitehall has attempted to practice business a manner that is similar to Tsun Tzu ( the art of war ) though the tactics seem less producitve for a smaller company, I would recommend that they try the Dale Carnegie strategy, surround yourself with those better than you and lay heavy challenges for those who are beneath you, and put the company in a position whereas it would have the ability to give itself a good name, then grow from there, I believe that imediate downsizing and consolidating is in order, please take the time to think about what I have said. Thank you for the opportunity to express my view on your operations.
Sincerely,
Calvin Waid
