TheSeeker, You are correct about the previous (shallow) drilling but from here on the drilling rate is going to slow down a lot.
I hope my estimate is wrong but compare that with the time it took Chevron to get to 22,000 ft from approx. depth we are now. The numbers are in the previously posted well log.
It took Chevron 9 months to get from here to 22,000 ft, I am "guessing" 7 for us barring any problems.

Chevron was at 14522' on 10/18/1980 and they reached TD of 22000' on 7/14/81 so it is obviously tough sledding in the deeper section of the hole. I have posted the log before for those who want to see it.
