i've been an avid photoshop user ever since freshman year in h.s. but all we had were PCs. so, i became good enough to do what i wanted to do with it through a PC. didn't feel the need to get a mac. plus i am a busn major so it really didnt strike me as necessary. that was until my POS dell laptop costed me many sleepless nights of recovering hours worth of work >:-O

so, im probably gonna keep photoshop as just a hobby. i'll probably buy it with this one and thatll be the last time i buy it for a long time :-P

you guys have all been very helpful here, and i will most definitely check out iChat. dont really need a macette, though, just some advice....my girl wouldnt be too happy bout that now would she lol! hey, never hurts to look ;)
