Cono Italiano and AOL Conduct Pizza Cono Taste Test

Cono Italiano, Inc. (OTC.BB:CNOZ - News), the exclusive license holder of the North American Distribution and Manufacturing rights for "pizza cono" a cone-shaped pizza and "on-the-go" food product, recently performed a "pizza cono" taste test for the food editors at AOL, known for their popular online food destinations like Slash Food and Kitchen Daily.

At the request of New York-based AOL Inc., Cono Italiano paid a visit to the AOL office on August 21 to perform a comprehensive "pizza cono" food tasting. The demonstration included a multitude of "pizza cono" varieties including: Traditional, Pizza, Meatball, Taco and a breakfast cone made of egg whites and cheese. The cones were prepared in a microwave using Cono Italiano's patented microwaveable sleeve, a process that maintains the integrity of the cone and keeps the dough crisp and crunchy.

"Given the popularity of Bagel Bites and Hot Pockets in the frozen food section, I could see Pizza Cones being the next big thing, especially with kids," said Sara De Heer, editor with Slash Food and Kitchen Daily.
