In the suppliers of Toyota in IN they start at 10 dollars and very skilled workers get to 15-16 dollars and the wages are higher there. You forgot hourly workers only work when they are called in so if the schedule goes down they do not come in. Those employees only work if they are at 100% capacity you seem to miss that pt. Salary help works 40 hrs and get no pay for over time and the company probably gets 50hrs out of them for 40 hrs pay. So company's subsidize the overtime for hourly with the free hrs they get out of salary help. Thats how it works today.
