Although they did not call me, they faxed me this. If you go to their website, it is one page with no information, and a link to order "last years copy" with no price listed. I did not look into it further - there wasn't enough information to even look at it, but beware.

Our records from the Defense Logistics Agency indicate that your company is currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Your registration qualifies you to do business with the Department of Defense (DoD), and makes you eligible to be listed in the United States Military Purchasing Directory.

The Directory is distributed to al purchasing offices throughout the DoD every fiscal year. Purchasing officers and DoD contracting personnel specifically use the Directory to locate vendors for whomthey will buy goods and services.

Vendors registered with the CCR are eligible to be listed in the Directory, or place display ads, to further market themselves to military buyers. If you are interested in being listed in the Directory for the upcoming fiscal year, you can request information from our offices in Washington, DC by calling 1-800-981-3845, MOn-Fri 9am 4pm est.

The information will be faxed to you immediately.

Received the same fax as the guy above. Definitely seems shady. They seem to state that they want to do business only by fax. A search however did bring up that their is a listing by this name in Silver Spring, MD. I'm ignoring this.

I can't believe I came across this on the internet.

Our company received a similar letter from them "by mail" over fifteen years ago. I guess they are catching up with the times a little … and are just now using faxes.

However, they are legit . We've listed in their directory for quite a while, and have received some business from it. Maybe they need to improve their notification process a little. I'll be retiring soon, so none of this will matter then anyway.
