The PhD's are biological type scientists. If scientists were so good at identifying good stocks they would be hired to run portfolio's. They know next to nothing about stocks or companies. They don't know the first thing about funding a company, or how to project future earnings.

This reminds me of a post about another stock where they ranted that since a Nobel prize winner was on the board of directors that the stock was a good investment. Since then the stock literally has lost 99%. Sound familiar? wink
