If you pay close enough attention to amazon throughout the day you can tell when people are buying the bulbs and it seems like as of recent there has been at least one order every hour on amazon. Granted, this is slight speculation as other products being sold and not being sold can shift the position of the ionic bulb but it has consistently sat at a ranking among fluorescent light bulbs that indicates it is being sold somewhat regularly...and that's on amazon. It also has a couple of recent reviews.

I think this would indicate it is gaining consistent exposure.
