Job Title: Assistant Clinical Psychologist

Department: Psychological Services

2. JOB PURPOSE

· Provide support for the efficient management of the Psychological Services Waiting List by:
o Provision of data entry and analysis of significant factors including referrals, contacts and capacity.
o Design and implementation of reporting and forecasting systems.
· Create, maintain and analyse outcomes including clinical and temporal.
· Undertake supervised clinical work to assist with meeting waiting times targets.
· Provide support, consultation and training for colleagues in the use of Beating the Blues by:
o Preparation and design of information materials
o Presenting information to colleagues
o Providing training as required
o Attend bi-annual meetings of NHS boards who use Beating the Blues in Scotland
o Facilitating recording of client information for Beating the Blues using existent recording systems.
· Prepare and participate in Tier 1 mental Health training courses
· Work with the head of service and mental health management team to support Demand and Capacity work and prepare for forthcoming psychological therapies HEAT target.
· Assist with the development of referral criteria, including liaison with stakeholders and audit.
· Provide expert data analysis input to support Doing Well Service Coordinator to analyse and report on service information
· Provide assistance to colleagues in the department to analyse information, e.g. literature searches
· Undertake routine service audit and service evaluation
· Supervised individual and group clinical work.
