Swanky, I don't remember MNLU putting out any info one way or the other regarding 3D seismic. Maybe they got enough info. from Chevron with the old well results to develope ther present acreage. I don't know if 3D seismic would be of any real value on this type of play, they already know what is down there.
I doubt they know the size of the play though, maybe they plan to establish that with the drill bit.
One thing is for sure. If this a big well (I think it will be) there is going to be big rush to lease the land on both sides of the Miss. river with or seismic, especially if we have some NGL'S present to offset the current low nat gas prices.
