Not to sound rude, but are you paying attention to the market as a whole lately? ... Every major index is down, today was a terrible hit.. SMVI is being effected by this, it's quite clear. People are selling, and taking money off the table left and right. Money is leaving the market currently, that is what is going on. The broader markets impact everything, including SMVI.
