Cono Italiano and Pizza Cone Featured in Indy Star News Paper

Cono Italiano, Inc., the manufacturer on an "on the go" food product, pizza cone, known as Pizza Cono, has been featured in the Indy Star News paper as one of the top new food items featured at the Indiana State Fair. The Indiana State Fair is amongst the largest annual fairs each year, lasting three weeks.

Over a two month period the Indy Star News paper along with local restaurants vote for what they believe is the top new item for the upcoming festival. They choose several food items from different food categories, from there they choose the top 10 items and have the public vote to elect the top item for that year. Pizza Cone finished second for 2009, Mitchell Brown CEO of Cono Italiano, Inc. believes "The reception the pizza cone received by the public is fascinating, in a nominal amount of time we have made the consumer aware of this product and it was embraced by people of all ages who have sampled the cone."

Cono Italiano will be developing a line of products specifically for the fairs and festivals, to consist of larger cones and filled cones. This market will be instrumental in exposing the pizza cone to customers and consumers who we may not reach throughout the country.
