...actually I'm going to share something that might be worthless, but... I've never been able to get the scan engine to work either (using XP/IE6)-- not a big deal, because I'm using something that's included with my etrade account.

I just tried again for the hell of it, but this time using Mozilla within my Linux partition. Works like a charm...

I'll be darned.
