An interesting point in your post about the selling of KATG to a mining company. I've often wondered exactly why KATX would split into a gold company and a copper company. This could be one of the reasons, that the Steads could sell a chunk of their company (KATG) and still have their copper operations. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
