Although I am sure that most of you have figured out your "system" for trading, I would like to share a thought I had for the new folks that are "scared" like me when it comes time to puting 25K on the line.

I have figured that playing with 1000 shares is "safe" for me right now. If the price starts falling, for every penny, it equates to $10 per penny. A number that is manageable for a newbie such as myself. On the other hand, for every penny gained of course, it is $10.00 gained. Also a manageable number.

It might just be a head fake that I am putting on myself, but for entering a trade, it has been less stressful to watch the price decline a few cents knowing that I was only looking at $20-$40 loss. Understand I am still hoping for a turn around, but the ability to ride the small dips knowing how much money it equated to has been nice for me.

Just thought I would share that.
