Hall of Fame Beverages CEO Announces the Return of Grand Ma Ma
Aug 18, 2010 8:45:00 AM

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/18/10 -- Hall of Fame Beverages, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HFBG) CEO Steve Hendricks announces that the company's first production run of its brand Grand Ma Ma's Sweet Southern Tea is complete. Hendricks says, "Last week we all met in Florida to finish the production run, and as a team, we're excited about what's in the bottle. The tea tastes fantastic and is right on balance. The staff at Tampa CoPack was very accommodating and made our first run a great success. There was so much energy with this team that we were ready to go to market right there."

Grand Ma Ma is a character played by former NBA player Larry Johnson in a Converse Shoes ad campaign. Larry Johnson and Grand Ma Ma are back and will be the face of Hall of Fame's sweet tea product.

Johnson was in Tampa, Florida, for the production of the tea and says he's enjoying recreating the character. "It's been a while since Grand Ma Ma has been out there, and it's great to see the character on the label. While in Tampa, I got to taste the tea coming off the line, and it really tastes great."

Hall of Fame Beverages project manager, Louis Restivo, who is responsible for distribution says the product is now being prepped for shipment. "We'll be sending the product to our warehouse, sending it out west for direct store delivery and sending it to Elmira Distributing Company.

"We're fortunate to be working with Toby Lagonegro at Elmira who will be distributing our products from the Canadian border to New York State."

Toby Lagonegro, the owner of Elmira Distributing Company in Elmira, New York, is a fifth generation owner of the company. Elmira Distributing has been in the business for over a hundred years and Lagonegro was the first to purchase the product for distribution. The company will be carrying the Grand Ma Ma's Sweet Southern Tea and Atomic Dogg Super Soda.

Lagonegro says, "I was down in Tampa for the production. The sweet tea has legs and will sell, and we're ecstatic about this relationship with Hall of Fame. We're hoping this takes off like our efforts did when we helped to launch Fuze among other drinks." Elmira Distributing Company currently works with 53 different supermarkets and convenience stores, including, BJ's Wholesale, Sam's Club, 7-Eleven and several school districts.

Restivo said, "As we get the product out to Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Texas, California, Arizona, Nevada and elsewhere we'll be using the network I spent years setting up as well as a DSD, or a direct store delivery process, to get product in locations out west. In the coming weeks we'll also be announcing the hotels, airlines and cruise lines who will be taking our products."

Hall of Fame Beverages national sales manager, James Robinson, will be putting Grand Ma Ma's Sweet Southern Tea in 7-Eleven and K-Mart stores in California, Arizona and Nevada using the direct store delivery process. Robinson says, "The beverage season has now begun and we look forward to getting on the fast track with corporate accounts."

Steve Hendricks and company President, Calvin Ross, both credit the success of this production run to Susan and Scot Ballantyne and their staff at Tampa CoPack. Susan Ballantyne is the Director of Operations at the facility, and said, "Hall of Fame was a pleasure to work with, everyone liked the end result and we look forward to a long relationship with them."

Calvin Ross added, "I am thankful for everyone's patience with the company, and I hope shareholders are pleased with the management team and the product we've produced. It was great to have Larry Johnson with us in Tampa to see the tea roll off the line, as he's very involved with operations and marketing at Hall of Fame, and he has a hand in all our decisions."

Hall of Fame Beverages CEO Steve Hendricks stated, "We already have a second production run of Grand Ma Ma's Sweet Southern Tea paid for, and it will be online in a couple of weeks. Our brand Atomic Dogg Super Soda will be produced and ready for distribution in the next 10 days. When we talked about me becoming the CEO, I said if I can't help build a brand, then I don't want to do it. With what we have at Hall of Fame, I feel in my heart, we can build a brand that my kids can drink and a brand that will be here into the next generation." Thoughts! Ideas! DD! Please Read!

To answer an earlier question, distributors are buying the product and distributing it on their own. It is this money that is allowing the company to pay for and get the 2nd run online. These distributors are placing the product and demanding more to stay fully stocked!!!

1. I am glad that some are calling Toby Lagonegro as I suggested given he's an independent 3rd party who was in Tampa during production according to the latest PR.

- He will verify that he's seen the product.
- He will verify that he's bought the product.
- He will verify that he will be distributing the product.

- I would suggest anyone living near Elmira go visit Toby and get samples or ask him if you can buy it up. Show him it's popular so he keeps buying it up. It is my understanding that next week is the start of Elmira putting product on shelves.

If you get these answers alone, that confirms everything that company has been PR'g. Why someone saying it isn't real, it isn't being distributed and it won't be on shelves wouldn't want to confirm what they are shouting is beyond me. If you are saying it's not real, being distributed or won't be on shelves make the call... and then move along because you are wrong.

2. When a PR headline hits the wires that says HFBG is on shelves at Sams Club or BJs Wholesale or K-Mart or 7-Eleven, etc.. And/or when, a headline that reads a major hotel chain or two, and a major airline, and a major cruise line has signed on to buy the product and serve it.... everyone who sold below .001 will feel like the biggest fool.

- Flippers and MMs will continue to do their thing, but everyone else has the chance to buy it up, hold on to it strong and refuse to give up what IMO is about to be one big move in Pink Sheet land. I had a ton of shares in MGL* that I loaded up at .0001 and their OS was 4 times higher than here at HFBG. It went from .0001 to .0033 on NOTHING but speculation. HFBG has SOMETHING REAL THAT IS ABOUT TO REALLY BE EVERYWHERE.

3. The OS is in the 3.3B range which for a PINK SHEET is like a low floater lol. Go pull the numbers and do the math... I will buy those screaming it's maxed out a dinner if this OS is over 3.5B. I am confident it's below 3.4B but I will allow for my missing some lines on the reports for all of 2010. Trust me it's not over 3.5B and most likely not even over 3.4B. I think when the Financials come out, when the OS is clearly below 3.5B, that should be a huge buying signal and should be huge news given we've had so many guaranteeing it's maxed out at 4.7B. It will become very clear the dilution isn't nearly as much as some think... and at that point they will have to admit they were wrong and that MMs are toying with this stock and that there are a bunch of flippers here.

- I would say that anyone who is selling at .0004 and .0005 currently is a flipper. What some are doing is trying to get in lower so they are selling small orders of what they hold at even or a loss in order to try to drive the price down allowing them to get more .0004s or even .0003s. We should all be offended by this and take charge of our investment if we're long. We should be hitting the ASK all day long to show constant buying. Even if you can only buy 10k, 50k, 500k or 10M it doesn't matter... just buy! When it sits for any amount of time, MMs take advantage of that and flippers do as well.

4. Everyone who comes to this board knows what is going on at HFBG, so we need to make the rest of the market aware of what is about to explode onto the wires and scene here at HFBG, and all of us need to make this a symbol everyone at least types into their streamer, and a symbol they are watching out for on Equity Feed. When this news hits the wires, everyone needs to be aware... ohhhh this is that company I heard people talking about. Hit your Twitter accounts, hit your Facebook accounts, go find other message boards, go hit up other momo board here on IHUB. Don't spam it here, but make the mention and get the word out. Many are accumulating here for what IMO is about to be a monster run, but we need new money, new investors and new word of mouth!!!

5.I have heard a lot of people talking about TV ads, and this is something I have been digging deep on with many sources I have. The short answer is some big money has been paid to put together what I am to understand is an ad campaign unheard of in PINK SHEET land. Let's just say Grand Ma Ma is about to be alive and well!! I have a source at ESPN who knows of stuff going on and he says he knows what Larry Johnson is up to b/c they will be running some things. Everything is hush hush as to what but some stuff PINK SHEET companies only dream of is about to go down here and go down soon.

6. Buy this stock up and hold on to it. You won't be sorry and it is my STRONG opinion that we are holding shares of what is about to be the monster of 2010. This company is about to do things that no one ever dreamed of or thought possible. This company has had some ups and downs... and just enough downs to keep everyone with that question in the back of their minds, but it's time to wake up and realize they just may have finally put it all together, and put together such a strong team of go-getters that have done it all before and they have the skins on the wall so to speak.

- This management team deserves some credit. If you don't like Calvin Ross, fair enough... but I think Larry Johnson has finally said... we are doing this the right way and we're doing it now, so surround yourself with real DOers in this business. I have talked to Steve Hendricks and he's incredible to talk to. He exudes energy and it is more than clear he wants this to be the biggest thing he's EVER done in his life... and that is saying something considering he's brought in revenues upwards of $80 million dollars to companies in the past. I have talked to Louis Restivo about 10 times. He works harder in one day than anyone here does in a week and the guy is like 70. He is going almost 24-hours a day to make this work. I have also talked to James Robinson and he truly believes this team will make this HUGE and far bigger than a company he built into a $20 million dollar a year revenue generator. This team is INCREDIBLE and they are working their butts off to bring this company value!!

These are just a few thoughts, and I could go on for hours based on close to a hundred phone calls I have made to networks, production studios, distributors, production facilities, supermarket chains, convenient store chains, and the big box stores. Sell if you want by all means, but if you had one iota of the information that is out there, you would buy and hold on tight. This will be one of those stories you can tell other investors... OMG I was in on that one from the floor up!!!
