Here's my take. New gold is a registered reporting company. All their 8k and filings are being watched and deemed true documents of events of the company. All the prior dealings with hglc, cmkx, these were pinkies and non-reporting companies. In essence they could have said 5billion dollar takeover and not do it. With new gold, it is registered, it will happen.
