Heya Vance....my tale of the PPBL story?....ok...this is what I know....long story short....

Grandbob....(GB from now on) had been posting about a "mega play for weeks. On and off I had short conversations with him, and had his board marked. I've been around long enough to know, that most "big" plays are frontloaded by the insiders. We talked a couple times about this, and he assured me via PM, and everyone else on the board that that he was the only one to know the play, and there would be no frontloading period. To me, statements like that mean, that he has some shares, and probably a few of his friends, and maybe thats it, no biggie. As time goes by, and the big ramp up to this mega play begins, I and a few others start putting things together, but, couldnt verify exactly. We then heard from another board, Teffy's, that Florida Mac had a play coming out the same day, yes, red flag since members float between the boards. The long anticipated day comes....first e-mail to hit the mailbox is from Teff's board...the play is PPBL....ok no biggie, I check the chart and see that it is frontloaded to all get out for approx 12 trading sessions, which I have seen before from Teff plays. Still waiting for GB to announce his play, it comes, yes, you guessed it....PPBL. I immediately PM GB, tell him Teffy and Mac beat him to the play, ask him what the deal is, and tell him it is massively frontloaded. He says not to worry and it will run. This was all pre-market, before the bell. Now, at this point I know there is going to be a major dump, but, I'm a gambling man as we all are who play the pinkies, so I have a choice to walk away, or buy, and I bought in thinking I could get a quick flip anyway.
9:30 comes, my order fills for a small amount as I didnt have much confidence in the play, but it was a lotto, and the dumping starts, and the day goes down from there. As people start to call it a P&D within the first 15-20 min of trading, GB is in defense mode, Asst mods start to vacate their positions, the bashing ensues, as the pumpers join the party.

So, what are the facts
1) GB lied many times to me, and many on the board
2) the play turned into a P&D from the start
3) GB claims, and the order confirmation page from his account confirms that GB, the one in charge and supposed sole runner of this play, neither bought in support of his "Mega Play" or sold ANY shares, and as we learned later in the day, the shares that he did own, he sold in the previous days to "friends" at atleast 100% profit ..... (like to be his "friend eh?) so, at the time he called it, he didnt own 1 share....why?...probably knew of the dump that was coming.
4) Teffy did know of the play as many others did, and bought shares prior to the play, and commenced dumping those shares at 9:30 at market open, as his trade confirmation page was also posted on the board. When he saw the play nose diving, he did try and support?,(but my guess is the heat was getting too hot), by buying some shares back, at lower prices, but the rest continued to dump.
5)Some good people probably lost 50% or so on the day, if they didnt sell for a loss.

What I learned from a few trusted people thru the day, and thru info that I cant divulge....

1) This play was fed to Fl. Mac, and GB. who were both paid by the main player, and possibly werent aware of the dump that was coming, tho I find that hard to believe since they watched the chart and play develop for weeks ahead of time..

2) GB is nothing more than a 19 year old kid.

3) the PPBL play was passed on by several other promoters.

4) frontloaded by asst mods, and then sold as they vacated their spot on the board as to cover their A**.

That is the basics....the frontloaders won, the traders lost, reputations, if there were any, were damaged.
