Why nit pick? Common parlance to interchange hedge and mm. They work together naked shorting many companies into a huge effective float and concomitant negligible share price. Usually no cover is necessary and profit on their books is used as leverage. The SEC regs are circumvented by shuffling shares between each other often via offshore financial entities.
