Okay, my bad, I will call McKeowin & Wood Fuel and tell them that I don't care if they charge $122/barrel for fuel pre-tax as a wholesaler, I will insist "the spot price is the spot price" and I will insist that some spot price in Vermont is what I get to pay in Ontario, even ignoring that the spot price doesn't include the wholesaler mark-up which is significant. I will tell them to just ignore that and gimme the fuel for $93/barrel.

Gotcha! Thanks for clearing that up for me. For a moment there I thought that JBII's wholesale blending facility in Ontario might actually get regular wholesale blending market rates in Ontario, but I see the light now. I should ignore 50% of the equation required to calculate whole market rates. Whew, thanks!!!

Update -- I just got off the phone with McKeowin & Wood Fuel. They told me that if I want they can sell me some rotten soybean biodiesel because it's a carbon copy exact same thing as petroleum diesel. They told me that too they can sell for over $122 per barrel. I told them I have a link where the rack price is only $30/barrel in a remote village in Madagascar so I expect to be there shortly and pay only $30/barrel. She said come get it. She would love to meet me privately in her basement.
