How please tell me is this off topic...


I had an opportunity to invest $10k in a small start up shoe company back in 1979. They were making strides to go public the next year. But in my mind, the market had been captured by Addias, Converse, Wilson and a few others. We did not need another shoe company what could they bring to the table.

Well they created a air soul shoe and nine months later went public. with in four years they had signed a mega superstar to endorse the product and by the end of 1985 had blasted the 1 billion mark in sales.

The company? you Know it as Nike...sometime you can just over think these things.....I thought myself right out of a fortune.

Just a thought for everyone. I still stand by what I have said. I don't trust any CEO, The information that has surfaced over the last two days is disturbing, but Cory has an opportunity and a obligation to address it. I will not convict until all the intel is on the table.

The fact that Retails and claiming "no Joy" on the shoe line does not bother me because I understand why they take that position.

I did sell some of my position, but not all. I have had to avg down from .0031 so I would not take too big of a hit. But as I set and watched and dug.. I calmed down a bit.

How many times have we seen this before. This stock flew with a frenzy over the last few months. This correction was bound to occur. Some of us just got caught on the top instead of the bottom or middle.

What caused this to run the fist time will repeat at some time in the near future. Retail season is here, Back to School, Christmas, this should shake out the real truth on Johnny's.

CL makes some great DD and his a great chartist. His opinion is his opinion and that is ok. Some times we need stop signs on our journey in order to get out bearings. Keep in mind, no matter what he feels, posts, or finds, one person can not manipulated a stock even 1%. He would need more than a 5% stake in order to be of any significance.
