STL, Jack may also perceive us as the problem. Are we not treated as the 'enemy'?

Seems rather odd that management let the short selling crush the share price with no response. I think they wanted to get rid of foul bed fellows and not at a premium. Too odd, they are doing it for a reason, or if you will a reason and a more recondite reason(s).

Aspen had contracted with Rapport.

Rapport’s primary objectives are to guide and assist CEOs and senior executives in their quest to maximize the intrinsic value of the respective enterprise, to build credibility with investors and to gain research analyst sponsorship. The ultimate goal for their clients is to realize the many advantages of top-quartile multiples of cash flow and earnings afforded corporations by well-informed longer-term investors.

Jack wants well-informed longer-term investors.

There are very few well-informed long-term investors on the OTC an exchange powered largely by momentum traders. Therefore Jack’s rationale might be to avoid press releases that could awaken the rapacious appetites of the leeches lurking on the OTC.

Hence we see CMP Fund, a well-informed longer-term investor, walk right in with no problem as did Cudney and some of those that make up the rest of the 60% of closely held shares.

The only notable release that could have triggered CMP’s buying was the May 31 announcement of the acquisition of 45 producing wells in 11 different counties averaging a 44 percent working interest. However, those 45 wells seem not to be enough to prompt CMP to put Aspen in their top ten holdings in which case CMP might know more and they are getting an entirely different picture than we are. I suspect many of the ‘chosen’ have a clearer depiction of the Company.

This, if true, is grossly unfair to the few long-term investors who have hung in and certainly may put Aspen in conflict with the SEC’s fair disclosure rules.
