The plastic factory I worked at had tons of plastic they wanted to sell that they ground up and kept piling up in the warehouse. If it was contaminated with any metal (from a small insert in the parts someone missed) it was garbage from the get go and a lot of the plastic parts were just tossed in the dumpster.
