I'm only posting this as a public reply ONLY because it MAY help someone else in the future. Usually, this is a PM matter. This isn't meant as a plug for this website. It's ONLY a recommendation in order to help someone repair their credit score on their own.

Usually, vets can get a loan with little or nothing down with a bruised credit score. It's harder these days than it was 3 years ago. Just "a sign of the times". Vets still can get a VA mortgage, it's just harder these days.

What I would recommend is that someone sign up for www.truecredit.com. REMEMBER, IT'S NOT A PLUG, JUST ADVICE. You get all 3 of your credit scores in one place. If you see something on your credit report you'd like to dispute, there are links you can do it ONLINE to dispute it. They still have to follow the same rules as if you'd sent a certified letter to them. I've done this in the past and actually raised my credit score because of it. I can't swear that anyone will have similar or better results since we all have a different situation.

If you want to do this without signing up for aforementioned website, do a google search on repairing your credit score yourself. There are businesses out there that "repair" your credit score for you, FOR A FEE. There are also risks in doing so. You'll have to do your own DD.

Remember. I am only giving advice, nothing more. I'm going on my experience from my past history. What you do is ultimately YOUR responsibility. I can't post that enough.

My opinions are just that. OPINIONS. I am no expert in trading, stocks, of ANY kind. I post what I believe is to be true. I share what's on my mind and think for yourself. My opinions can be incorrect at times. Do your own DD. Don't take my, or others, op
