Wow, I had forgotten Singers had an autistic child.

Mr. Singer received less than the standard range of 57 months to 71 months after Judge Robert J. Ward of Federal District Court in Manhattan determined that Mr. Singer's autistic son would be harmed by a prolonged separation from his father.

"You will be imposing two life sentences -- one on my baby, one on me," Mr. Singer told the judge at a hearing.
