I think if they released PRs with confirmable substance most would be glad and view it with skeptical optimism. One or two may not believe anything positive. Who can blame them. But to hold off real news for a few is stupid excuse some are making up to justify their optimism and make the constant waiting bearable. BUT if any mildly positive news comes out that can't be verified it would certainly be met with hostility. At best would be called fluff. Rightfully so we seen it before and has any of it be proven true. Very little has. Most appeared true but over time has been proven false or has become less credible. They have a steep him of doubt to tear down before they will be believe if they ever begin to turn this around.
