I forgot about this when I posted gathering all the Terminator 3000 Info. This might be the biggest deciding factor of all.
In addition to Pacificor paying Halycon $29.5 Million for the Terminator Franchise, Pacificor agreed to pay another $5 Million for each Terminator Sequel. As VivatJesus posted here last night, IF Halycon does not own the Terminator Animation Rights they are probably not owed the $5 Million sequel fee on Terminator 3000. We have not seen the wording of the Document, this will most likely end up in Court, but it is hard to believe that a judge will award a company fees due on a asset when the company does not own that asset.
This might be a case of Pacificor's attorneys blundering by not securing the Animation rights, yet come out smelling like a rose by eliminating the $5 Million Terminator Sequel Fee. An extra $5 Million on top of an already heft licensing rights fee might be all that is needed to tip the scales in TDGI's favor with Pacificor.
For example, a $15 Million Terminator 3000 Rights Fee Offer by TDGI, might look like a $20 Million Offer to Pacificor.
